Seated Smiling Buddha

The Buddha is depicted seated, with his auspicious red robes swathed about him (except for his exposed belly and pendulous chest) and he is smiling reverently at those who looks at him. In one hand he holds Mala prayer beads for incantations and meditation, and on the other rests a huge gold ingot - this signifies wealth satisfaction.
The Buddha is here to tell us to lighten up, and remember the more important things in life. Sometimes, making a living is not truly making a life.
